Albanian club allows people of all ethnicities to come together to learn more about our culture. We present dances, food, and our language to everyone. During our meetings, we go over new words, present a new food, and share parts of our country. Albanian club meets in E-23 every first Thursday of each month, with exceptions to special holidays!
Arab-American Club - Mrs. Houstoulakis E-18 - mhoustou@livoniapublicschools.org
Arab American Club meets in room E-18 on Mondays every two to three weeks. Our club promotes and shares Arab culture through fun, interactive activities like Jeopardy, Kahoot, crafts, and traditional dances. We explore Arab history, identity, and community by highlighting local role models such as Rashida Tlaib and Shatila Bakery. Members also experience Arab cuisine by bringing and sharing food and desserts. Students can join by attending meetings, joining our Google Classroom, and following us on Instagram for updates. The Arab American Club creates a safe, welcoming space that celebrates identity, diversity, and acceptance at Stevenson High School community.

We are the Asian American Club. We meet once a month on a Wednesday in D-21, and we talk about various Asian cultures and traditions across Asia. You can expect donuts and Asian food every time you come in! If you would like to get notified for our next meeting or general information, our Google Classroom code is "bpburg5". Bible Club meets every Friday after school in B-29. We look at scripture and interpret what it says as well as how we can apply it to our own lives. We invite Pastors from around the area to come in and speak, but we mostly have student-led messages. We also enjoy snacks and games. If you want to stay up to date on anything Bible Club does, you can join our Google Classroom “fxz4nshu” and you can also follow our Instagram “Stevensonbibleclub”. All are welcome, and Bibles are provided!

Hi, our club is called the Black Student Alliance (BSA)! We’re a club dedicated to inclusivity and equality. We do a variety of activities at every meeting, including games, movies, arts and crafts, and more! We usually meet every other Wednesday in room D-24. At times, the date and location may vary depending on the activities and the number of people we expect to attend, so for future updates, you can follow our Instagram account @bsa_shs. This club is open to everyone willing to join and we always want new people at our meetings! To join our club, you can attend any future meetings held, or you can contact Mr. Jackson and our president, Sarah Davis! We hope to see you guys soon!
Debate & Forensics - Mr. Lusa A-25 - rlusa@livoniapublicschools.org
Debate is a fun form of competitive public speaking where students write and debate bills imitating a chamber of Congress. Students pick either affirmative or negative positions and argue for or against these bills using the evidence they have researched. During practice, we share evidence on bills and help each other write speeches and bills. We also help each other practice our speeches.
Forensics is a form of competitive public speaking in which students choose an event from a range of possibilities – Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, Broadcasting, Poetry, Storytelling, etc.- and then make short presentations/performances. Students may try out several different types of events each season.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Members are exposed to real-world experiences such as field trips, guest speakers, leadership conferences, and academic competitions. These experiences allow students to develop the skills needed to be a leader in any career interest.

Game Club is an exciting place to play board and card games and make new friends. Everyone is welcome, and new game ideas are always encouraged. We meet every Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:00 in B-29. Anyone can join at any time and all are welcome!

Girl Up is devoted to improving the lives of young women around the world. It focuses on their health, safety, education, and social and economic opportunities. We host fundraising events and hold monthly meetings to discuss the needs of young women in our school, our community, our country, and our world.

Glamour Gals meets every other Tuesday after school at Willow Pines Retirement Community. Occasionally, we will have meetings in B-16. This semester, Glamour Gals served the community by building meaningful relationships with local seniors through regular visits. We visited the senior community nine times and spent quality time engaging in fun, interactive activities such as crafting together and painting nails. Students can join by stopping by B-16 and getting a permission slip from Mrs. Osborne.

Improv Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:10 in Room E-20. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Improvisation is a form of acting and storytelling where we think on our feet. Learn the basics of improv through interactive games that allow you to shout out and move around. Create stories by collaborating with others in silly scenes, all while laughing until you cry.

Link Crew is a Junior and Senior mentorship program. These students help freshmen assimilate into High School. Applications to be a member of Link Crew come out in April. See Mrs. Dishmon, Mrs. Feheley, Mrs. Sharp, or Mrs. Osborne for an application, or with any questions you might have.

Literary Fiction Club meets almost every Tuesday in Mrs. McAlinden's room, D-23. During our meetings, we pick a short story, poem, or novel to read/look over together and discuss. Members aren't required to read out loud or share their thoughts on the stories, but they are encouraged to do so. Our meetings are short and fun, and sometimes include snacks! Join us if you like to read or analyze stories, or even if you think it'd be fun to listen in to the discussions. Mock Trial Club - Mrs. Feheley E-16 - afeheley@livoniapublicschools.org
The SHS Mock Trial Team meets in Room E-16 each Friday from 2:30-3pm to practice courtroom procedures, develop arguments, and improve public speaking and critical thinking skills; students can take on roles as lawyers, paralegals, witnesses, or bailiffs. The team competes each February at the regional conference in a real courtroom with real judges against other school teams. Interested students can join by attending a meeting or contacting Mrs. Feheley for more information.

National Honors Art Society (NAHS) is an art club where all are welcome! We meet every Wednesday after school in the Art room (G-16). There is no limit on how many students can join NAHS. We do an activity that only takes about 20-30 minutes that uses different forms of art. Some of the activities we have done are sculpting clay pumpkins for Halloween, a Bob Ross Painting, and pearler beads. The only requirements for this club is that you have to pay a small fee of $15 in the beginning to maintain our National title and that you enjoy doing art!

National Honor Society (NHS) is a national organization where those who are in our society are invited, accepted, and are in good standing. At the end of your sophomore year, if you meet the requirements for NHS, you will receive an email with information on how to apply. We meet once a month in the community room, and members often participate in community service projects, tutoring, and school leadership activities. Being in the NHS is seen as an honor and can look good on college and scholarship applications because it shows commitment both in and out of the classroom.

Stevenson Quiz Bowl is a club that meets weekly and allows students who enjoy knowledge and trivia games to compete against other schools as part of a team. Practices begin in late September and are open to any SHS student interested in playing. If you like Jeopardy!, you'll like Quiz Bowl!

Random Acts of Kindness is a project working to spread kindness around the school. At meetings, we complete projects and activities that in some way add joy and kindness to our school community. Meetings are once a month after school. To join, simply come to a meeting. Everyone is welcome to help spread kindness!

Recycling Club meets in Mrs.Prices room A-13 after school every Monday. We go to each hallway and collect each classrooms recycling's then discard them in the bins outside the vending machine doors. Students can show up after school in A-13, sign in, grab a plastic bag, then head out to the hallway assigned to them and collect recycling. Recycling Club is open to anyone even if you have other activities after school. It helps build up your service hours and there is a pizza party at the end of the year. Collecting the recycling should only take up to 30 minutes every Monday!

The Livonia Interact Rotary Club holds its meetings in Room B-11, Ms. Ware’s classroom. Meetings are not held on a fixed weekly schedule; instead, members are notified in advance when meetings are planned. Our club focuses on service projects and fundraisers that support and improve the Livonia community. New members are welcome to join at any time.

Our six officers and 200+ members in SADD welcome all students and accept anyone who wants to make a positive impact on the Stevenson Community and makes good life choices. We do awareness activities, fun activities, as well as community service work throughout the entire school year. This year meetings are every other Friday, after school in room B31 from 2:30 – 3:00 pm. This group is especially great for Freshmen to make new friends, make a difference at SHS, and earn volunteer hours toward an Activity Letter. Thespian Society (Troupe # 3247) is the Stevenson branch of the International Thespian Society (ITS). ITS is the only theatre honor society for middle and high school students in the United States. ITS recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre – performance and production. Actors, crew, tech, and band/orchestra pit performers are all eligible for induction to ITS after earning 10 ITS points, representing 100 hours in, on, under, above, and around the stage. If you were involved in a play or musical at Stevenson, we are already keeping track of your points for you! All students (even those not yet inducted) are welcome to attend most Thespian Society meetings, though, so interested students should join our Google Classroom to get updates on meeting dates/times and locations.

Chess Club meets every Wednesday after school until 3:00 pm. All skill levels are more than welcome. You can come with a friend and play, or you can choose an opponent when you come to room A-18. We have plenty of boards and chess sets, so if you want to leave a game in progress, you can do so. It's the game of Kings, so have some royal fun.

The Foods Club meets once a week in the Food Lab. It was formed by students who enjoy the creativity of cooking. Students learn new cooking skills and techniques and enjoy sharing and eating with friends.

German Club allows students to travel overseas to German-speaking countries and experience the places and cultures introduced in classes in person. It also organizes various additional cultural and language-promoting events. Students enrolled in the program are part of the club and have different options and possibilities to earn activity credits over time.

At our meetings, we bring in guest speakers from all different healthcare professions to come in and talk about their pathway to their career and share some interesting facts. The Livonia Warriors High School Robotics Program consists of two high school teams. Each of these teams is made up of students from Churchill, Franklin, and Stevenson. "The Tyros Team" is an all-9th-grade team of students learning the fundamentals of FIRST Robotics, building a competition robot and taking it to competitions. The "Livonia Warriors" is our veteran team comprising all other grades. They are an advanced team, building a highly competitive robot and submitting for consideration for advanced awards. The Livonia Warriors have participated in both State and World Championships over the past decade.

A competitive dance club coached by Allie Hamet, a 3-time National NDA Champion with the GVSU Dance Team. Tryouts are held in April. The season runs from May to February, with camp in June/July and choreography in late August. The dancers compete in approximately 5 competitions from November through February, with the possibility of attending Nationals in Orlando, FL, in mid-February. The SHS dancers also perform at SHS pep rallies, sporting events, and in the community.

An all-school student government of elected 6 Senators and 4 officers from each class that plans and organizes many activities in the school to enhance the high school experience. This includes dances, assemblies, and other student-run events.
Class Councils
A class-wide club in which all students can participate. Students elect 4 officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer). The officers are automatically members of the Student Senate and council members can assist the Student Senate in planning and implementing school activities. Class Council's goal is to raise funds and help decorate events. This includes dances, assemblies, and other class-run events.

2025-2026 Activity Letter Information
Students may receive an Activity Letter for their participation in non-athletic, co-curricular activities, and sanctioned clubs. Sponsors of these sanctioned clubs may assign activity points to qualified students. A maximum of four (4) points may be given to a student per sanctioned club. A maximum of six (6) points may be given to a student in student government (Class Council, Senate). It is the sponsor's responsibility to assign activity points.
Students who accumulate 50 activity points in a sanctioned club are eligible for an Activity Letter. Active involvement in student activities must span a minimum of a two-year period.
Students will receive their letter by the end of the year in which it is awarded. If you have any questions, please call the Directors of Student Activities, Amanda Feheley and Rick Mestdagh, at (734) 744-2660, ext. 48715.
