Scholarships and Financial Aid
Before you begin, you must create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID. The FSA ID consists of a user-created username and password to electronically access personal information on Federal Student Aid Web sites. You can use your FSA ID immediately to sign your FAFSA, but you must wait for the Social Security Administration (SSA) to verify your information before the FSA ID can be used to create a renewal FAFSA, make corrections to your FAFSA, or view your Student Aid Report (SAR).
If you need help, please see this step-by-step tutorial called 7 Easy Steps to the FAFSA. We also recommend referring to the Funding Your Education resource provided by the U.S. Department of Education.
