It is Homecoming Week!! Everyone is excited to show their school spirit and pride with our spirit days, the pep assembly, the HoCo football game Friday night, and of course the dance Saturday night.

A few points to remember: This is an exciting time for our students. While this is sometimes a hectic week with all our activities, our academics still take priority. We encourage students to display their spirit. It is expected that all spirit wear is school appropriate. As always, it is important that students use good time management and communication skills throughout the week. 

Highlights for this week:

• Thursday - Float Building - Right after school - please check with their class for locations.
• Friday - Homecoming Pep Assembly @ 1:15 pm - Outside - weather permitting. 
  We are running a special bell schedule next Friday - See link.

Our LCTC 1st & 2nd block students will attend as usual.

**The 3/4 & 5/6 block students will remain at SHS to attend the PEP assembly.

• Friday Night - Homecoming Football Game @ 7:00 pm vs. Fordson High School 
• Saturday Night - Homecoming Dance @ 7:00 pm 
  • *Students will not be permitted to entrance after 8:00pm

2024 HOMECOMING DANCE INFORMATION

Spartan Families, 

Homecoming Dance tickets will be available for purchase from Thursday, September 12-Thursday September 19 during all lunch periods in the Brieske Room. Tickets will also be sold after school on Wednesday, September 18 until 3:30 PM in the Brieske Room. New this year we will have three food trucks including Auntie Anne's, Cinnabon, and Sweet Treats Ice Cream. Upon purchasing a ticket each student will be able to select a treat from one of our vendors at the dance at no additional cost. Additional treats will not be available for sale during the dance. We are also happy to welcome "Fun With Flipbooks" who will be available for students to create a fun flipbook souvenir from their night.

The cost is $25 per ticket, payable by cash or check (made out to Stevenson High School). A student ID is required to buy tickets, and the ticket will be loaded onto the student's ID card once purchased. Please note that students must be in good standing to attend the dance. Students must present an approved guest pass in order to purchase a guest ticket. Guest passes are available on their class google classroom as well as hard copies in the Brieske Room.

For the event, all students must wear shoes throughout the evening. Heels are not permitted on the gym floor, so plan footwear accordingly. School rules and dance policies will be strictly enforced.

On the day of the Homecoming Dance, Saturday, September 21, 2024, doors will open at 7:00 PM for students with pre-purchased tickets. Students and guests must present a photo ID to enter the event. No one will be admitted after 8:00 PM

There will be two designated entrances for the dance:

• Students being dropped off or picked up should use the main front entrance of the school.
• Students driving themselves should park in the student lot and enter through Door 24, located on the west side of the building behind the Performing Arts Center.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the parking lot, where a clear walkway will guide students to the side entrance for the dance.
